CloudPull 2.0 is coming soon, and will include the following new marquee features:

  • Backup of Gmail
  • Point in time snapshots

A more detailed description of changes is available in the CloudPull 2.0 Release Notes. I am now making a beta version publicly available.

Beta Version Installation Instructions

If you have CloudPull installed, you should first quit CloudPull and drag it to the Trash. Then, download the CloudPull 2.0 beta using this link, move the downloaded app to your Applications folder, and launch the app.

Since CloudPull 2.0 is a free upgrade, CloudPull 2.0 will accept a CloudPull 1.x registration code. In addition, CloudPull will run as a registered app if you have run a Mac App Store-purchased copy of CloudPull within the same user account on a Mac.

If you install this beta, the software update mechanism within CloudPull will let you know when there are newer beta releases and will update you to the final version of CloudPull 2.0 when it becomes available.

System Requirements

CloudPull 2.0 will require Lion (Mac OS 10.7). CloudPull 1.5 will be maintained for customers running Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6).

CloudPull 2.0 will also require IMAP access to any Gmail account for which Gmail backup is enabled.
