The heuristics Unread uses to determine whether it should download an article that is not already stored locally depend on the syncing service.
Feed Wrangler
- All unread articles.
- All starred articles.
- All read articles more recent than the amount of time specified by the Keep Read Articles setting, with a 90-day maximum.
Feedbin
- All unread articles.
- All starred articles.
- All read articles more recent than the amount of time specified by the Keep Read Articles setting, with a 90-day maximum. Under some circumstances Unread will not download a read article from Feedbin if it has not been starred and is within four hours of its expiration time based on the Keep Read Articles setting.
Feedly
- The 10,000 most recent unread articles.
- The 10,000 most recent saved articles.
- All read articles that meet this criteria:
- Are within the 10,000 most recent articles
- Are more recent than the amount of time specified by the Keep Read Articles setting, with a 30-day maximum.
Under some circumstances Unread will not download a read article from Feedly if it is not saved and is within four hours of its expiration time based on the Keep Read Articles setting.
Fever
- All unread articles not from a Spark feed.
- All starred articles not from a Spark feed and not from a feed to which the customer is no longer subscribed.
Inoreader
- All unread articles.
- All starred articles.
- All read articles more recent than the amount of time specified by the Keep Read Articles setting, with a 30-day maximum.
NewsBlur
