Veramente valida! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Funziona benissimo, mantiene più copie di backup di elementi anche cancellati o modificati da tempo. Indispensabile!!!

5/5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
This is a solid app that achieves its goal well. The initial setup and browsing interface are nice and streamlined. I also like that the app has the option to only show in the system Menu Bar, and not the Dock, since like most good backup systems, it's a set-and-forget affair.

A thing of beauty ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
For a very long time, I searched for a decent app to move IMAP messages from gmail. What I found were either server-side only, or else they were not robust and fault tolerant. Cloudpull is elegant functionally and esthetically. The GUI is deceptively simple, while underneath the hood a lot of complex voodoo is underway. I use many gmail accounts, with way too many messages (>100k), and Cloudpull handled them all without a glitch. Such large message collections require days of runtime, but no matter: rude interruptions (like, closing the lid on the macbook pro) are handled gracefully—Cloudpull simply picks up where it left off.
The end result is a beautiful, indexed library of email with the gmail tags (labels) intact and sorted. Messages are stored in .emix format, which has a couple of huge advantages. The messages are viewed in mail.app, yet the complete message collection can be searched in the finder using spotlight (much like you would search for a message in the gmail archive on the web). And the archive is mine now, not google's. Google's servers aren't feeling the love.
You need this app. Oh, did I mention it backs up Google Contacts, Google Docs, etc etc…? What a work of art.

I was listening to Typical MacUser Podcast and heard you talk about your app. I've been looking for this exact functionality was glad to see you supported multiple accounts, since I have a few for various projects and groups I work with. Thank you for a fantastic app. And Thank Victor for featuring you!

Valuable utility, now even better with Gmail back up ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I have been using CloudPull for a while now. It gives me peace of mind that my important Google Docs are being backed up and will always be accessible to me. The installation is simple, the app runs without a hitch, and the developer is actively updating and supporting the app. The latest version, which added Gmail support, is a solid upgrade.

Great app! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I'm very happy I bought this app. I use google apps for my company and I hate to see my calendar empty because of wrong synchronisation with a mobile device or something like that, I simply rely on it too much. If something goes wrong at Google (highly unlikely, but it has happened in the past), at least my data is safe :)
John's e-mail support is great and there are new updates every now and then to improve the app.

pessimo ★
Peccato.
PS: ho quasi solo file di GoogleDocs in google, mi serve solo poterli sincronizzare in locale.

Does the job well ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Though at first appearing a bit pricey for a simple app, this was forgotten as it gives some peace of mind that your eggs are not all in the Google basket. It has happened in the past where accounts have had problems or files have been delted by mistake, so having the capability of being able to get access to your own data is worth the money.
I hope during this apps evolution, the developers add backup for GMail. Even without that, it is worthy of five stars for what it does, it does well.

Simple and quick! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The interface is very simple and intuitive. It just worked. I had been worrying about keeping an offline version of my Google docs and now I can stop.

Finally a no-nonsense Google Docs backup utility ★ ★ ★ ★
Great interface, really Mac quality workflow, i.e. It Just Works. Made a backup of my (1.5GB) Google Docs account in 45 minutes and knowing I have everything local makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :-) Very nice looking and responsive interface . A few suggestions:
- Including Picasa and Bookmarks (maybe even Tasks) would really make this app 'complete' (for me)
- Choice of backup file format. I use CloudPull as disaster recovery and would like to use pdf instead of / in addition to .doc, .xls, etc.
- It would be nice to have a pdf version of my starrred reader articles.
Really worth the $20,-!

Does what it does and does it well ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
CloudPull works so well that I sometimes forget it's running. I'm impressed that it not only backs up my documents, but it also backs up documents that others have shared with me. And I especially like the quick view feature to look at older versions without having to restore them, though I wish I could scroll through a document in quick view. I had previously avoided using Google Docs for fear I might lose data, but that has changed now that I use CloudPull. And the price is well worth it to me since having a local backup is very important to me.

Does what is says on the tin ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I have been using CloudPull for a few months and it works seamlessly. I use Google Apps a lot and this gives me the piece of mind that even if something happened to my account I have a backup.
The software is updated reguarly to offer new features that furth enhance it.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a backup for their Google Account.

Ottimo, mancava! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Funziona a meraviglia, avere tutti i propri file salvati in locale oltre che in cloud sull'account google non ha davvero prezzo. Per l'autore: metti la possibilità di scegliere dove creare la cartella per i backup!
For GOLDEN HILL: please add the option to choose the place of backup folder! Thanks!

So far so Good ★ ★ ★ ★
I am just looking for an app to back up my google docs, calendars and addresses. everything seems to be working pretty good so far. I'm not a very technically inclined and had a little hiccup, however the response time that the developer gave was crazy fast. I rate a four and will probably write a few later on as I try out this out and look forward to giving a five. Thanks for a great app.

Great google backup app! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I've been using this for a few weeks now to pull down my work Google Apps account as well as my personal one. Restoring past versions is simple and the interface is intuitive. It's also light on the CPU, I haven't noticed it running once but it's scraped all the, sometimes very frequent, changes to my accounts.

Expensive, but does what I need it to do ★ ★ ★ ★
Expensive, but it does exactly what I would like it to do. It pulls my docs off the internet, so I can store them on my computer as a backup. 4 stars, not 5 because of price.
